Coast Insurance is a trading name of Fifty North Group Ltd, and are Managing General Agency on behalf of Convex Insurance UK Ltd.

The Underwriters at Coast Insurance have been at the forefront of yacht insurance for many years. Marcel Herrera, the lead underwriter, has perfected his trade whilst working for renown industry insurers such as Pantaenius, Yacht Insure and Tokio Marine Kiln.

Our ethos is to bring boat and yacht insurance into the modern era, by fusing technology with a market leading policy. Our belief is that we can be better underwriters if we understood the risk better. This is why we have backed yacht insurance telematics from the get go.

Our wider team is supported by industry veterans with a broad background in sailing training centres, yacht repairs and refits, yacht manufacturers and loss adjusting companies.

You can find our offices both in the heart of the city of London where we are close to our insurance peers, brokers and underwriters; as well as in Hamble Yacht Services, where we support our clients by being on site and easy to approach for any insurance questions.
